Siero<\/span><\/strong> es un lugar estupendo para explorar <\/span>Asturias<\/span> desde el centro a cualquier punto del Para\u00edso, pero tiene tambi\u00e9n mucho que ofrecer. Hoy te proponemos <\/span>5 cosas para ver y hacer en el conceyu<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Les Campes<\/strong><\/h1>\n

\u00bfAndas con fame<\/em>? Los mejores sitios para comer est\u00e1n en esta plaza del centro de La Pola<\/strong>: Casa Manolo, Viento del Norte, El Rincon\u00edn de Les Campes, El Madre\u00f1eru, El Pozu…<\/em> Aunque Pumar\u00edn<\/strong> tiene fama de ofrecer un ambiente m\u00e1s tradicional y la Sidrer\u00eda Les Campes<\/strong> la mejor relaci\u00f3n calidad-precio.<\/p>\n

Lo m\u00e1s llamativo, aparte de su arquitectura tradicional, es el monumento en homenaje a las fiestas de El Carm\u00edn <\/strong>(celebradas a finales de julio). Su origen se remonta a 1695, cuando Andr\u00e9s del Quintanal Nosti fund\u00f3 en este mismo lugar una ermita advocada a Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Carmen (destruida en 1810), dando origen una romer\u00eda que actualmente es, junto a los G\u00fcevos Pintos <\/strong>(Domingo de Pascua), la fiesta m\u00e1s concurrida de Siero, con cerca de 50.000 asistentes. Obra de Constantino Rozada, recrea la danza prima<\/em><\/strong> con la que se finaliza la celebraci\u00f3n de El Carm\u00edn.<\/p>\n

2. Valdesoto<\/strong><\/h1>\n

<\/p>\n

Valdesoto<\/strong> es, tal vez, la parroquia m\u00e1s folixera<\/em> del conceyu de Siero. Sus dos fechas m\u00e1s importantes son las fiestas de San F\u00e9lix <\/strong>(segundo fin de semana de agosto), en las que se celebra el Desfile de Carroces<\/strong> (declarada Fiesta de Inter\u00e9s Tur\u00edstico<\/em> desde 2002) y los Sidros y Comedies<\/strong> (primer domingo despu\u00e9s de Reyes), una preciosa y divertida mascarada de invierno que tiene lugar a la sombra de la iglesia modernista de San F\u00e9lix<\/strong> y muy cerca del Palaciu de los Carre\u00f1o<\/strong>, del siglo XVIII y declarado Bien de Inter\u00e9s Cultural.<\/p>\n

3. Ti\u00f1ana<\/strong><\/h1>\n

A escasos 10 minutos de La Pola, esta parroquia es conocida por la gran cantidad de llagares<\/strong>, siendo un destino muy valorado para la realizaci\u00f3n de espiches: Llagar de Fonciello, Llagar de Quelo, Llagar Juan\u00edn, Viuda de Palacio <\/strong>o Llagar Mu\u00f1iz<\/strong>. Por otro lado, siempre merece la pena acercarse a conocer el espl\u00e9ndido Palaciu de Meres<\/strong>, declarado BIC. Constru\u00eddo entre los siglos XV y XVII, aparece en varias pel\u00edculas de Jos\u00e9 Luiz Garci (El abuelo<\/em>, You’re the One<\/em>, Historia de un beso<\/em>, etc.) y en La Regenta<\/em>, de Fernando M\u00e9ndez-Leite.<\/p>\n

4. Cualloto<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Cualloto, es un lugar singular. Parte de la localidad pertenece a Granda (Siero) y parte a Uvi\u00e9u, pero es esta cercan\u00eda a la capital lo que hace que tenga tambi\u00e9n una oferta muy atractiva de llagares y sidrer\u00edas ideales para comer el fin de semana, combinada con un importante caser\u00edo tradicional. En lo que toca a Siero, lo m\u00e1s interesante est\u00e1 en el puente medieval<\/strong> (aunque se cree que sus bases son de origen romano) y en la antigua f\u00e1brica de cerveza \u00c1guila Negra<\/em><\/strong>, de estilo neocl\u00e1sico y recientemente restaurada despu\u00e9s dos d\u00e9cadas de abandono.<\/p>\n

5. Valles mineros de Pumarabule y Cand\u00edn<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Esta parte del Este de Siero contrasta con el paisaje del resto del conceyu, pues aqu\u00ed se hace patente la huella de su pasado minero, con los t\u00edpicos castilletes, escombreras y poblados de trabajadores. En la parroquia de Santa Marta podremos conocer el Pozu Pumarabule<\/strong> (o El Pozu la Muerte), profundizado en 1917 y que tiene el honor de haber sido el primer pozu vertical de Asturias, adem\u00e1s de la aldea de Llamu\u00f1u<\/strong>. Siguiendo por la AS-324 hasta la parroquia de Carbay\u00edn nos esperan los de La Paulina<\/strong> (en La Rasa), reconocida por Jovellanos y el Pozu Mosquitera <\/strong>(desde la AS-323), cerrado a finales de los ochenta. Por \u00faltimo, desde Cand\u00edn podremos recorrer la SI-12 y hacia Lieres por la SI-14 hasta el conjunto minero de Solvay<\/strong>, un magn\u00edfico ejemplo de poblado minero y pozu, perteneciente a los Valde\u00f3n Cabanilles, pero comprado en 1903 por Solvay y Cia.<\/p>\n
